Congratulations to Matt Baier, our 2014 Innovative Educator!

Each year, the Classroom of the Future Foundation (CFF) presents awards to innovative educators and programs in San Diego. As part of the CFF awards, SDCUE is proud to sponsor the Innovative Educator award to recognize excellence in innovation to an SDCUE member. The SDCUE Innovative Educator 2014 award goes to Matt Baier from Cathedral Catholic High School for his work with iPads and iTunes U. As winner, Matt will receive a $1,000 stipend, registration for 5 to the SDCUE 2014 Tech Fair, and will be honored at the Classroom of the Future Foundation dinner on May 21st at USD.

Matt believes the goal of educators should be "to use technology to teach students to become intellectually curious and skilled lifeling learners." Check out his SDCUE Innovative Educator application video to learn more about what makes him an Innovative Educator

Thanks to all our amazing SDCUE members who applied for this honor. You're all amazing educators.
